Karl is a partner and co-founder of Fehr Law Group. His clients and peers widely acknowledge him as a passionate and aggressive attorney.
Prior to founding Fehr Law Group, Karl acted as a pro-bono attorney for both the Chicago Legal Clinic and the Chicago Volunteer Legal Society. Between the two roles, he assisted hundreds of borrowers in a variety of stages in the foreclosure process. This experience fostered his inspiration for opening a firm that would specialize in helping homeowners fight the banks during one of the most stressful periods of a homeowner's life. Since opening, he has expanded his practice to include matters involving civil litigation, real estate, estate planning and business law.
Karl earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, where he was a member of the Dean's List. During law school, he also earned his Master of Business Administration in Finance from DePaul University Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, where he graduated in the top 1% of his class. In recognition of his academic success, he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. In addition, he earned a Certificate in International Tax Law from Northwestern University School of Law.
Despite the rigor and time constraints of completing multiple graduate programs concurrently, Karl remained an active member of Phi Alpha Delta, Evening Law Student Society, Circle of Financial Opportunities, DePaul Entrepreneurs Association and DePaul Real Estate Organization. He also gained valuable international experience by completing various academic programs in Austria, Greece, Spain and England.
Prior to graduate school, Karl earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. During his time at Stetson, he was a member of the Dean's List and elected president of both Sigma Nu fraternity and Order of Omega honor society. He is a proud graduate of Saint Thomas Military Academy.
